Parking Sensors

Could any one suggest / recomend a type of parking sensor that can be used with a tow hitch, as I beleive not all are compatable.

I have no problem with mine at all provided the socket mouting plate is slightly dog legged towards the bumper.

Ditto with mine - I have dual electrics and a Wtter detachable hitch - doesn't cause any probs when on, and accuracy of sesors is still spot on.

Dunno what you're asking here, the sensors are the standard Ford ones, the towbar is a towsure.

The standard factory-fit ones can be re-programmed by the dealer if you have a towbar fitted (and depending on the plate, you may not need to get them re-programmed). After-market ones - well, you will need to read the instructions; are Woolworths still selling their kit at around

Have witter towbar with plate unederneath for dual electrics,no problems at all,had to change plate as originally picked up sockets,fitter bent plate originally but it eased away with use so he changed mounting plate

Ivor - is the reprogging done through the diagnostic? If so, can VAG-

COM be used?

Not sure, but I believe that VAG-COM is the way to do it.
